Vitality Healthcare Medical Centre is a mixed billing general practice. We are committed to provide our patients with the highest quality medical care and service in a professional and caring environment. The fees charged reflect the time you spend with the doctors, the complexity of your issues, and any procedures performed during your consultation.
Weekdays’ billing arrangement
From 1st November 2023
Bulk-Billing
- Bulk billing is at the GP’s discretion.
- Chronic disease management plans, health assessments and kids childhood immunisation (under NIP Program) are generally bulk-billed if you have a valid Medicare card.
- All doctors will bulk bill kids under 16 y/o with a valid Medicare card on weekdays only. Otherwise, gap applied.
- All doctors will bulk-bill concession card holders on weekdays only.
Private Billing
- All appointments, whether telehealth or face to face will incur a fee.
- A minimum gap fee of $25 payable depending on the nature and length of the consultation.
- Private fees apply for all procedures, such as skin lesion excisions, iron infusions, ECG, cryotherapy, ear syringe, dressings, Implanon insertion/removal Mirena insertion/removal and private vaccinations.
- Private fees apply for all patients without a valid Medicare card, with upfront payment required in full.
- All fees related to worker’s compensation and motor vehicle accident claims must be paid in full by the patient at the time of consultation.
- Private non-Medicare fees apply for commercial driving medicals and pre-employment medicals.
- A private fee applies for any scripts or referrals supplied without an appointment.

All payment has to be paid in full. Your Medicare rebate can be rebated instantly into your cheque or savings account with a debit card. For Telehealth appointments if your bank details are lodged with Medicare, the rebate will be paid directly into your account in 24-48h.

Saturday’s billing arrangement
From 1st November 2023
- ALL appointments (except Health Assessment & Chronic Disease Management plans), whether telehealth or face to face will incur a fee, including concession card holders & kids under 16yo)
- A minimum gap fee of $25 payable depending on the nature and length of the consultation to cover higher staffing cost.
- Extra fee applies for all procedures, such as skin lesion excisions, iron infusions, ECG, cryotherapy, ear syringe, dressings, Implanon insertion/removal and private vaccinations.
- Private fees apply for all patients without a valid Medicare card, with upfront payment required in full.
- All fees related to worker’s compensation and motor vehicle accident claims must be paid in full by the patient at the time of consultation.

- FULL PAYMENT including the consultation fee and the service gap fee is expected at the end of the consultation on the same day of visit, after which you will then receive your Medicare rebate if eligible.
- A $66.40 deposit fee is required to be paid prior to any telehealth. Patients will be contacted a few hours in advance on the appointment day to pay the deposit over the phone. For Medicare card holders, rebate will be claimed after the telehealth and transferred directly into your nominated bank account with 48 hours. For Non-Medicare card holders, a receipt will be emailed to you after telehealth.
- Please note that this price list is a reference, the price may vary depends on changes. Please check with receptionists before you make any bookings or accept any services.
- If you have a private health insurance, such as Overseas Students Health Cover, Work Cover, etc. You are required to pay upfront and send the receipt to those parties after to claim your repayment.
- For International students with OSHC cover, please bring along your valid OSHC member card and photo ID to appointment.
- We offer onsite HICAPS claiming services for foreign visitors & overseas students with valid private health insurance membership cards (eg Bupa, Medibank, NIB & etc)
- Your usual GP may choose to discount or bulk bill your consult fee as a once off, this does not set a precedent, nor should you expect another GP to do so.
- Note: A non-attendance fee of $35 for GP consultations or 50% of consultation fee for non GP consultations will be applied if you:

- reschedule within 3 hours for GP consultations or 24 hours for non-GP consultations prior to your scheduled appointment time,
- cancel within 3 hours for GP consultations or 24 hours for non-GP consultations prior to your scheduled appointment time.
